I Miss You
Don’t Tell Anyone Tho 🤐

Okay, I low-key miss camp, I know the conversation was subtly flying around that, we would miss camp when we leave and we would shrug it off and say “God forbid, I can never miss this place” especially if you camped in Ekiti state where I did.
But this morning, it just dawned on me that I actually miss camp and it’s not just my friends or the amazing people I met in camp. I actually miss waking by 2am to prepare for morning meditation, I kinda miss lining up to collect that concotion rice and fish, i miss hearing that really annoying beagle sound or the soldiers shouting “jump up” every now and then. I miss praise and worship and that traumatic song OBS plays every morning, ask any Ekiti corp member, they can relate.
One thing I will never miss is being forced to sit through 5 hours of boring lectures, never will I miss that section or the annoying officials always going on a show of power for no single reason.
I miss the strangers turned friends that I met, they’re the ones that made the experience worth the hype. Thank you all for a sweet camp experience, I hope not to forget you all.
And to my amazing substack audience, sorry for the silence, I was busy being busy in camp, you get the gist right 🤗
I’m back like I never left and we’re going to have lots of unpacking to do together and till next time guys
Peace i leave with you 🕊️
Byeeee
